Living on Video

Living on Video/Truck Turner coverLiving on Video/Truck Turner casette

Living on Video (covers) is one man's tribute to video tape artwork, ranging from 70's era porn like CB Hustlers (featuring a truck - a sexy truck?) to 1994 comedy "classic" Funny Man ("Freddy Krueger meets Roy Chubby Brown" - starring Christopher Lee, no less).

Each entry comes with a 400 dpi scan of the cover and cassette. Although "camp" might describe the majority of the collection, some do look genuinely pretty.

God, seeing those VHS tapes feels kinda weird. Ten years ago, every supermarket had a small selection of films on tape. Wait, no, probably twenty years ago. Then again, I think I saw... bottom line is, I'm getting old.

Music for Video Game Trailers

I just finished writing music for a couple of video game trailers, most notably for Crysis 2, the upcoming FPS from EA Games/Crytek. Missile Mastar and Moto GP were chosen because they seem kinda complementary, at least they're not trying to tell a story and show a different artstyle.

As for singer-songwriter stuff, there's something in the works but it's too early to talk about it. If anything new gets released, I'll twitter about it. #Winning
