Tokyo Gore Police is director Yoshihiro Nishimura's second major feature film after 2008's infamous Machine Girl. Released only a few weeks later, TGP continues to walk the fine line between splatter-gore and comedy - yes, comedy.With its gratuitous use of fake blood, mutated genitalia and over-the-top violence, you can't help but think that someone must have been taking the piss. You're free to take it seriously though. Just watch the trailer and decide for yourself.
EDIT: Lest I forget: The story revolves around a virus that turns humans into mutants. Mutants that grow "bizarre" weapons from every injury they receive. Yeah, use your imagination. Or not.
